Island Peak Climbing

The Island Peak Climbing is a trekking peak in Nepal that will bring you to the heartland of Khumbu, Gokyo and Everest Base Camp. Island Peak Climbing is one of the major climbing peaks in the Everest area. Island Peak Climbing also has a remarkable and heavily glaciated west face that ascends from the Lhotse Glacier. Island Peak Climbing is found on top of the Chukung glacier and a popular trekking trail due to its difficult geographical state. Annually, about 300 groups make attempts to get to Island Peak Climbing summit.

Island Peak Climb adventure is a great opportunity to get to a Himalaya summit. The Island Peak Climb adventure has a fulfilling trek to the Everest base Camp and to Kala Pattar. The most complicated area of the Island Peak Climbing is a combination of rock and ice wall at a slant of about 45 degrees that takes you to the restricted summit ridge. The Island Peak Climbing is richly rewarding when you get to the summit and get a spectacular view.

Before the ascension on the Island Peak Climbing there is the Dudh Kosi valley from Lukla that goes through Namche and Tengboche. There is a need to get rested, be fit and also get acclimatized on the Island Peak Climbing before ascending to the gorgeous Imja Khola Valley en route to Island Peak. Apart from the Island Peak Climbing adventure, there are the immaculate but calm and undisturbed monasteries. You will also find primeval Sherpa villages on the Island Peak Climbing adventure. The way back on the Island Peak Climbing adventure is through Namche to Lukla.

Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Trekking preparation day and Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2652m) 3 hours
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 6 hours
Day 05: Acclimatization, hike to Everest view hotel (3900m) 3 - 4 hours
Day 06: Trek to Dole (4200m) 5 hours
Day 07: Trek to Machhermo (4400m) 5 hours
Day 08: Trek to Gokyo Lake (4700m) 4 hours
Day 09: Hike to Gokyo RI (5360m) 4 hours
Day 10: Trek to Thangna (4500 meters) 4 hours
Day 11: Cross Cho La pass (5300m) then trek to Dzongla (4710 meters) 7 hours.
Day 12: Trek to Lobuche (4910 meters). 4 hours
Day 13: Trek to Gorekshep (5180m) 3 hours.
Day 14: Hike to Everest Base Camp (5400m) and return Gorekshep (5180m) 7 hours
Day 15: Hiking to Kalapattar (5545m) - Gorekshep - Dingboche 7 hours
Day 16: Dingboche to Island Peak Base Camp (5240m) 6 hours
Day 17: Island Peak Base Camp to summit Peak and back to Chhukung 10 – 11 hours
Day 18: Extra day for contingency .
Day 19: Trek to Tengboche (3860meters). 6 hours
Day 20: Trek to Khumjung (3900m) 6 hours
Day 21: Trek to Jorsale (2740m) 6 hours
Day 22: Trek to Lukla (2800m) 5 hours
Day 23: Fly back to Kathmandu (1310m) 30-minutes amazing scenic fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 24: Breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for your final departure.
