 Bhaktapur is one of the famous and old city in Nepal and also known as 'Bhadgaon' or 'Khwopa'. Bhaktapur is an antique Newar town in the east side of the Kathmandu. It is about 12 km far from the heart of the capital city Kathmandu. It is situated in Bhaktapur District in the Bagmati Zone.

The majority of the residents are Newars and it is the third bigest city in the Kathmandu valley. Bhaktapur is rich for it's tradition culture, religion, festivals, traditional art and architecture, history monuments and craft works, temple, rich local customs, wood and stone art works. So it is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO . And also it is famous for special type of curd named "Juju Dhau" it means 'King Curd' and the tase of curd made in this location shall not be found in another place all over Nepal.
